Aqaba Maritime Touristic Cooperative Multipurpose Society joins owners of Touristic Glass Bottom Boats, commonly known as Glass Boats Society. Touristic Glass Bottom Boats are a main environmentally friendly touristic attraction in Aqaba as they offer the opportunity to large numbers of visitors to enjoy seeing the beauty of underwater life with its distinguished highly divers coral reef habitats without the need to dive or cause any disturbance to the bottom habitats. The Society has been established in Jun 1994. 

The main mission of the Society is to promote responsible and sustainable tourism through boat excursions, fostering environmental awareness and cultural heritage appreciation, thus serving as a leading advocate for eco-friendly boat tourism. 

• Organize and conduct boat tours and excursions for tourists, showcasing scenic landscapes, cultural heritage, and marine wildlife. 
• Promote environmental conservation and responsible tourism practices among tourists and boat operators. 
• Provide Social Support, where the society may work on providing support and assistance to its members during challenging times, such as financial aid during downturns, natural disasters, or accidents at sea. They also put efforts towards offering healthcare benefits and accessing official Social Insurance Services. 
• Collaborate with local communities and businesses to ensure that the tourism industry benefits the region's economic development sustainably. 
• Provide awareness programs and materials about marine life, ecosystems, and conservation efforts. 
• Engage in advocacy and lobbying efforts to influence relevant policies and regulations for sustainable tourism practices. 
• Ensure the safety and well-being of tourists during boat excursions through working with its members to adhere to affective safety standards.
